The combat boot of the roman empire, all soldiers in the roman legions were issued these shoes.
Hobnailed to keep them from wearing out quickly on the march
These are constructed from veg tan leather for the body, sole leather for (oddly enough) the sole and
a thin layer on the inside to cover up the hobnails that are clinched over.
I've worn these quite a bit and they have taken the form of my foot very well, they are quite comfortable
but could use a bit of arch support.
